Face Glow Yogurt Mask RecipeThis is multi-purpose skin glow mask. The mask helps exfoliate skin, and add the needed nutrients (Vitamins, minerals), and a moisturizer. IngredientsDry Ingredients1. Besan (Chickpea flour): 3 Tablespoon Substitution: instant oatmeal powder 2. Multi-vitamin tablets: 3 Crushed with mortar and pestle to form powder 3. Vitamin C (500 mg): 1 Crushed with mortar and pestle to form powder. Lightens up skin 4. Zinc (10mg): 1 Crushed with mortar and pestle to form powder 5. Turmeric powder: 1/8 teaspoon (Pinch) Light reflectance 6. Brewers Yeast: ¼ teaspoon (Optional) Brewer's yeast is added for additional B Vitamins. However, it does not smell too good.
Wet Ingredients1. Plain yogurt: 1 Cup Exfoliation, Vitamin B5 promotes moisturizer, soft skin. 2. Honey: ¼ Cup Exfoliation, oil reduction, collagen building, and skin bleaching, humectants moisturizer. 3. Vitamin E (200 IU) capsules: 3 Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, Repairs effects of sun exposure. Prick each capsule with a needle and collect vitamin E discard the jacket. 4. Flax seed oil: ½ teaspoon Omega 3 acids Preferred order of substitution: Walnut oil, Canola oil, Grape seed oil, Fractionated Coconut oil, Virgin Coconut oil.
Method1. Mix dry ingredients. 2. Add wet ingredients to make a paste. 3. Store in refrigerator. Use as needed.
ApplicationApply about 2 teaspoons on face. Let it stay about 20 minutes. Wash and rinse with cool water. |
