Women with PCOSInsulin Resistance seems to be a common problem with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Diabetics and Obesity About 6 to 10% of women in their child bearing age suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Eighty percent of these women are obese. The major problem seems to be insulin resistance. Weight loss can improve insulin resistance. Some women with PCOS may also have a sensitivity to yeast, and certain chemicals.
Women with PCOS should follow the same diet as diabetics.
