Home Remedy for hair loss

You may be able to influence thinning of hair by change in diet and applying a topical paste made of Fenugreek seeds

Male baldness is tied with testosterone levels during puberty. and the genes Will my son grow up to be bald? This shows up as thinning hair among women. We can do very little about hair loss due to genetic make up.

Hair has three stages: Growth phase (3 to 6 years), Transitional phase (2-3 weeks), and Resting phase (3 months). At the end of resting phase, the hair sheds off, and new growth phase starts to replace the lost hair. If the hair lost is more than, the replacement, it results in thinning of hair or baldness.

New growth phase can be  slowed down by malnutrition so that not enough hair is produced. At the end of resting phase, more hair may be shed due to hormonal changes. Hair may also be lost due to medications.

We can influence hair thinning by change in diet.

 

Avoid saturated fats and meats.

 

Increase foods high in Vitamin A, B Vitamins (Specially Biotin), Silica, Calcium, Iron and Zinc

 

Drink plenty of water to hydrate scalp.

 

Home Remedy

Studies have shown Fenugreek seeds to be effective.

Boil two Tablespoon of Fenugreek Seeds in ½ cup of water. Let it steep at low temperature for 10 minutes. Let it cool to room temperature.

Grind the Fenugreek seeds in the water boiled in a mortar pestle or any electric grinder. Make a fine loose paste. You can store the Fenugreek paste in refrigerator for two weeks.

 

Apply and massage the Fenugreek paste in to scalp for two minutes. Let it stay 20 minutes. Wash and Rinse.

Apply two times a day .

After one week you will see a drop in number of hair lost.
