I have formulated some ideas for daily menus for healthy skin.

 

Menu Ideas for Healthy skin

Break fast

Hardboiled Eggs, Spanish omelet, Oats, Dalia (Cracked wheat)

Sprinkle wheat germ over oats or Dalia

 

Snacks

Pork Rinds

Fresh oysters on half shell

Brazil nuts, Walnuts, Almonds

Mangoes, Purple Guava, Cantaloupe, Oranges, Plums, Peaches

Blueberry smoothie

 

Proteins for Lunch or Dinner

Salmon, Tuna, Mackerel, Sardines

Skinless boneless chicken, Chicken Curry, Skinless Turkey breast, Turkey Curry

Khichri (Brown Basmati Rice and split Moong Dal with skin)

Cholay (Whole chickpeas), Rajma (Red Kidney beans), Mah Dal (Whole Black Matpe), Moong (Whole Mung Beans)

 

Grains

Naan (whole grain), Roti (Whole grain), Bajra Roti

Brown Basmati Rice

 

Vegetables

Aloo Gobhi (Potatoes with skin and cauliflower),  Aloo Gajar (Potatoes with skin and carrots),  Aloo Mirch (Potatoes with skin, and red or green sweet bell pepper), Paalak Gajar (Spinach, carrots), Sarson Saag (Mustard Greens), Moong Sprouts and Sweet Bell Pepper

Kachumbar (Cucumber with skin, red onions, tomatoes, shredded carrots)

Khumbi (Mushrooms), Shakarkandi (Sweet potatoes), Kaddu (Indian Pumpkin)

 

Making Curries

Use fresh garlic, fresh ginger, mustard seeds, tomatoes, fresh lime juice, turmeric powder, cinnamon. cloves, Canola oil, Mustard oil, Safflower oil

 

Beverages (Per day)

One Dark beer

2 to 3 cups of Green tea

Water

low fat milk

Ginger ale
