Will I have a baby girl or a baby boy?Father's sperm cell determines the gender of the unborn Mother's egg carries one X- chromosome. Father's sperm carries either an X- chromosome or a Y-chromosome. After the man ejaculates, it is the race of the sperms to fertilize the egg. If the sperm carrying X-chromosome gets there first and fertilizes the egg, you will have a baby girl. If the sperm carrying Y-chromosome get there first and fertilizes the egg, you will have a baby boy.
The baby girl winds up with two X-Chromosomes, one from each parent. The baby boy has one X-Chromosome from the mother, and one Y-Chromosome from the father.
The gender of the baby is determined at the time of conception.
The gender of the unborn can be seen in the ultra sound. The latest least intrusive method is a DNA test done from a drop of mother's blood.
Sorry! the diet of mother before, during, or after conception can not change the gender of the baby. |
