Slim down Indian Style Espresso Latte Recipe

This low-fat low-calorie hot beverage is made with low-fat milk. Cinnamon is added for plant insulin

 

Ingredient

1. Instant Coffee: 1½ teaspoon
2. Granulated Splenda: 1 Tablespoon
3. 2% fat Milk: 2 Cup

4. Cinnamon stick (3"): 1

5. Green Cardamom pods cracked open: 4

 

Method

1. Reduce Instant coffee crystals to a fine powder with mortar and pestle.

2. In a small mixing bowl put coffee powder and Splenda. Add a few drops of water (less than ¼ teaspoon), and beat it with a fork incorporating as much air as possible to make a frothy fluffy paste.
3. Ina pot add milk, cinnamon and cardamom pods. Bring it to almost a boil. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the cardamom pods and Cinnamon stick.
4. Divide the frothy coffee in to two cups. Fill the cups with hot flavored milk. Garnish the top by sprinkling a pinch of coffee powder.
