Choosing Beverages for Weight Loss

For a weight loss program, an adult must drink at least 8 cups of fluids per day, six of which must be plain water.

Servings needed : 8 to 10 cups.

 

1. Avoid any packaged soda, including diet soda.

2. Avoid  all alcoholic beverages.

3. Drink about 2 to three cups of any of the following per day

Black Coffee, Black Hot or Iced tea, Green Hot or Iced tea.

Green tea is Thermogenic. One cup can increase metabolism by 4%

4. Drink 6 to seven cups of the following per day

Cold water, Homemade lemonade, Home made limeade, Sugar free Ginger ale

 

You may use Splenda to sweeten your beverages.
