30-day Weight-loss Program
This 30-day weight-loss plan is designed to learn basic principles of dieting, still producing remarkable results
This is not a long term weight-loss program. You should eat what you normally eat as long as it is within 20 point criteria. After 30 days, you should slowly switch over to regular weight loss program. All the 20 points are important, still they are listed in a prioritized list of importance. Weigh your-self at the start of the program, and then every week. You may be surprised with results. I have provided explanations only when necessary.
1. Drink one cup (oz) of plain water as soon as you get up.
2. Eat breakfast within 45 minutes after waking up. This helps you kick start metabolism. It should be a big breakfast, not just one fruit or coffee and toast. I prefer 2 whole-eggs, 2 slices of whole-grain bread toasted, ½ grapefruit or one orange, Green tea with honey.
3. Do not eat after 6 pm. You use minimum number of calories while asleep. Un-used calories turn into fat while you sleep.
4. Walk one hour non-stop every day. The speed and pace don't matter.
5. Drink one Tablespoon of Apple-cider vinegar or Balsamic vinegar before eating Lunch or Dinner
6. Drink a minimum of 8 cups of fluids every day. 4 cups must be in fresh clean water
7. Eat 2 fresh fruits per day. The best fruit for weight-loss is Grapefruits. However, you might not be allowed
to eat grapefruit due to interaction with prescription medication. In that case eat one apple and one orange per day
8. Eat salad with lunch and with dinner
9. Do not eat any ground beef (hamburger, meatloaf), ground pork (sausage), ground lamb, ground mutton, ground chicken, ground turkey. Do not eat processed lunch meats Ham, Bologna, Chicken Turkey. Muscle fat and skins are used for ground and ground-processed (lunch meats) increasing fat content.
Eat skinless chicken or turkey. Eat trimmed beef (Stew meat, or steaks), trimmed pork or ham. Only eat meats and poultry where you can see the muscle and its not ground up.
10. Do not use table sugar or some artificial sweeteners. Use Splenda or Honey
11. Do not eat products made of white flour: Cakes, Breads, Biscuit, Cookies, Muffins, Brownies. Eat whole grain bread
12. Do not eat white rice. Eat brown rice
13. Eat cooked dried beans (chickpeas, black beans, red kidney beans, lentils...)
14. Limit dairy products to one serving of fat-free plain yogurt with live culture. No Cheese, No Cream.
15. Do not eat high calorie foods: nuts, dried fruits, candies (hard candies, candy bars, drops)
16. Do not drink diet soda
17. Do not drink alcoholic beverages (liquor beer and wine)
18. Do not eat fried (deep-fried, pan-fried, griddle-fried) foods
19. Use hot red peppers (Ground Cayenne, Red Crushed), Cinnamon, Fresh Ginger, Fresh Garlic, Fresh onions
20. Raw Foods one day a week.
Raw Food Day for Weight loss
Set one day per week aside for just raw foods (Fresh Vegetables and Fruits). You must not starve yourself. This is the hardest part of this program with the most benefit. It will add digestive enzymes, help cleanse some of the toxins from liver and colon. |
