Palak Paneer (Spinach and Cheese) Easy Recipe
To save time, this dish is made with canned chopped spinach
We are going to make this recipe much easier without the usual fuss. The purists may not like the recipe as it uses canned spinach and corn starch. At least try it once. You will be amazed at the simplicity and the taste. If you are a purist, buy the fresh spinach leaf, wash, and boil for 20 minutes, drain.

1. Onions: ½ Cup
2. Garlic: 4 Cloves
3. Fresh Ginger: 1 Inch
4. Ghee: 2 Tablespoons
5. Cumin seeds: ½ teaspoon
6. Bay leaves: 2
7. Ground Cinnamon: ¼ teaspoon
8. Ground Fenugreek seeds: ¼ teaspoon
8. Whipping Cream: ¼ Cup
9. Spinach Cans: 3
10. Salt: ½ teaspoon
11. Fried Paneer Cubes: 1 Cup
12. Milk: ½ Cup
13. Corn Starch: 1 Tablespoon.
Step 1: Pulverize onions and garlic in a blender or food processor and set aside.
Step 2: Peel Ginger and slice it very thin. Set aside.
Step 3: In a heavy bottom pan, heat Ghee. Add cumin seeds. Roast cumin seed till they start to turn brown. Add Onions and Garlic from Step 1. Sautee, till the onions turn clear and about to turn brown.
Step 4: Stir in Bay leaves, cinnamon and ground fenugreek seeds. Add Ginger from Step 2. Sautee about two minutes. Add whipping cream. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer about 3 minutes.
Step 5. While mixtures is sautéing, open the cans of spinach and drain. Add Spinach, Salt and Paneer to mixture. Let it cook on low heat for ten minutes.
Step 6: In a cup mix milk and corn starch. Stir it into the cooking mixture. Make sure everything comes to a boil. Cook about 2 minutes. Shut off heat
