Mushroom Tikka Kebab  Recipe

Mushroom Tikka kebabs may be served with Green, Red or Makhni Tikka Masala.

 

Ingredients

Marinate

1. Olive oil: 1 Cup
2. Lime Juice: 1/2 Tablespoon
3. Crushed Kasoori Patta (Dry Fenugreek leaves): 1 teaspoon
4. Fresh chopped cilantro: 1 Tablespoon
5. Cayenne powder: 1/8 teaspoon
6. Salt: 1/2 Tablespoon


Kebab Vegetables

1. Fresh closed cup/button mushrooms: 20
2. Sweet Green Bell Pepper (Optional): 1
3. Sweet Red Bell Pepper (Optional): 1
4. New Red Potatoes (Optional): 8

Bamboo Skewers: 4 Large (Optional)

Red onions, Lemon, Fresh Cilantro for sizzling.

 

Method

Step 1:  Mix all the marinate ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Step 2: Core and cut bell pepper lengthwise in 6 sections each. Cut Red Potatoes in half. Add vegetables including mushrooms to marinate. Refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
Step 3: Bake kebabs in the preheated oven at 450º F ( How to bake Kebab Tikka in the oven ) for 18 minutes, 8 minutes each side. If using skewers, thread vegetables alternating peppers, mushrooms and potatoes.

Step 4:If you are using skewers, you may omit this step, if not,  Sizzle the kebabs .
