Green Paneer Tikka Kebab

Green Paneer kebabs may be served with Green Tikka Masala.

 

Ingredients

Marinate

1. Onions Chopped: 1/2 Cup
2. Garlic: 4 Cloves
3. Ginger Chopped: 1 Inch
4. Fresh chopped cilantro: 1/4 Cup
5. Fresh peppermint chopped: 1/4 cup
6. Cayenne Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
7. Salt: 1 teaspoon
8. Dahi (Whole-milk Yogurt): 1 cup
9. Lime Juice: 1/4 cup
10. Olive oil: 1/4 cup

 

Kebabs

Paneer: 1-1/2 Pounds

Bamboo Skewers: 4 Large (Optional)

Red onions, Lemon, Fresh Cilantro for sizzling.

 

Method

Step 1:  Marinate for this recipe is almost like making chutney. Combine all the ingredients together and grind or puree them in a food processor. Try it, you may like this as a chutney.
Step 2: Cut Paneer about 1/2" thick, 1"x1" pieces. Add to the marinate. Marinate at room temperature for 45minutes or two hours in refrigerator.
Step 3: Bake kebabs in the preheated oven at 450º F ( How to bake Kebab Tikka in the oven ) for 16 minutes, 8 minutes each side.

Step 4:If you are using skewers, you may omit this step, if not,  Sizzle the kebabs .
