Curried Green Beans for Aging Recipe

This is a simple nutritional low calorie recipe with very few spices

 

Ingredients

1. Fresh green beans cut into 1" pieces: 1 Pound

2. Canola oil: 1 Tablespoon

3. Red Onion: 1 Fajita cut thin slices

4. Sea Salt: ½ teaspoon

5. Cayenne pepper: Pinch

6. Turmeric Powder: ¼ teaspoon

7. Cumin powder: ½ teaspoon

6. Cilantro: 1 Tablespoon chopped

 

Method

1. Cook green beans in boiling water till tender (About 10 minutes)

2. Heat oil in a large skillet. Sauté onions, till the edges start to turn brown

3. Stir in boiled beans, salt, cayenne pepper, turmeric and cumin powders . Cook about two minutes.

4. Garnish with chopped Cilantro

 

Yield: 2½ Cups

Serving Size: 1 Cup
