Vindaloo Curry Spice Mix Recipe

The meats are marinated in a paste of Vinegar oil onions garlic ginger and Vindaloo spices

The marinated meats are cooked and the marinate cooked to make the gravy.

I have not included Salt in my spice mix. I add salt in actual application

I have also include a vinaigrette that can be used to make the Vindaloo Curry.

 

Vindaloo Dry spice Mix Recipe #1

1. Cumin powder: 10 teaspoon

2. Coriander powder: 8 teaspoon

3. Turmeric powder: 2 teaspoon

4. Fenugreek powder: 2 teaspoon

5. Dried Ginger powder: 2 teaspoon

6. Cinnamon powder: 1 Tablespoon

7. Ground Cloves: 1 Tablespoon

8. Ground Black pepper: 1 Tablespoon

9. Ground Cardamom: 1 Tablespoon

10. Hot Cayenne Pepper powder: 8 teaspoon

11. Hot mustard powder: 4 teaspoon

12. Degi Mirch: 4 teaspoon

Yield: 17 Tablespoons and 1 teaspoon

Good for 4 pounds of Meat or Vegetables

1. Curry Powder Standard Onset Punjabi: 8 Tablespoon

2. Garam Masala Standard Frying Punjabi: 4 Tablespoon

3. Hot Cayenne Pepper powder: 8 teaspoon

4. Hot mustard powder: 4 teaspoon

5. Degi Mirch: 4 teaspoon

Yield: 17 Tablespoons and 1 teaspoon

Good for 4 pounds of Meat or Vegetables

 

Vindaloo Masala Paste

1. Curry Powder Standard Onset Punjabi: 8 Tablespoon

2. Garam Masala Standard Frying Punjabi: 4 Tablespoon

3. Cayenne Pepper powder: 8 teaspoon

4. Hot mustard powder: 4 teaspoon

5. Degi Mirch: 4 teaspoon

6. Salt: 4 teaspoons

7. Tamarind Pulp: ¾ cup

8. White Vinegar: 1cup

9. Mustard Oil: 1 cup

10. Onions Ground: 8 Cups

11. Garlic minced: 1 Cup

12. Minced ginger: ¼ cup

13. Green Chili pepper (Substitute with Serrano): 8

Good for 4 pounds of meat
