Tandoori marinate Chicken Seafood |

| Chicken is marinated and cooked in Tandoor. Tandoori marinate can be used for chicken as well as seafood
The most important ingredient of this marinate is Dahi (Yogurt). It is so uncanny that two separate cultures oceans apart use fermented milk to marinate chicken. In United States, the Southern Fried Chicken is marinated in buttermilk overnight before frying. You can marinate chicken or prawns before cooking them in Tandoor. After marinating process is complete, remove the chicken from the marinate and discard marinate. Do not re-use marinate another batch of fowl or seafood. This marinate is formulated for a minimum of four hours to overnight.
Ingredients1. Garlic crushed: 8 Cloves 2. Lime juice: ¾ teaspoon 3. Chopped onions: ¼ cup 4. Ginger Chopped: ½ Inch 5. Cumin Powder: 2 Tablespoons 6. Coriander powder: 1 Tablespoon 8. Cayenne pepper powder: ½ teaspoon Degi Mirch adds the red color in Tandoori Dish.
MethodCombine all the ingredients together in a glass bowl. This mixture is good enough to marinate about 5 pounds of chicken or Prawns or combinations there of. |
