Standard Onset Punjabi Curry Powder RecipeIn North Indian cooking, a set of curry spices are added at the on set of making curry. I have called this mix as Standard On-set Curry Powder.
You can make this mix with readily available powdered spices.
Normally, after the onions garlic have been fried, Standard curry spices are are add and mixture fried at medium to high heat. Care should be taken not to burn spices, don't exceed 2 minutes.
Recipe Ingredients1. Cumin powder: 2½ teaspoon 2. Coriander powder: 2 teaspoon 3. Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon 4. Fenugreek powder: ½ teaspoon 5. Dried Ginger powder: ½ teaspoon
Yield : 2 TablespoonsMix and sift well. |
