Garlic Paste RecipeYou only need bulbs of Garlic, and a coffee grinder to make Garlic paste 1. Separate Garlic Cloves from the bulb. 2. Smash each clove with handle of your knife. It will crack the hard skin. Peel off and discard the skin 3. Put the garlic in the coffee grinder. Process to make paste. You may have to use teaspoon to shake lose some large chunks. Process to make smooth mixture. 4. Transfer the Garlic paste to air-tight sterilized jar. Store in the refrigerator. It should stay good for one to two months.
Notes1. Do not add water or oil to Garlic when making paste 2. You may add little salt and a few drops of either white vinegar or fresh lime to increase the shelf life of the paste. 3. Always choose Garlic that is over 3 weeks old. This helps avoid the green tinge being generated 4. If you want to make Garlic Ginger paste. Add peeled Ginger of equal weight to Garlic. Ginger may be grated before being processed in the coffee grinder. |
