Garam Chai Instant Tea Masala Spice Mix Recipe

Make Garam Chai Latte with instant tea or tea bags. Blend your own spice mix using ground spices. Store the mix in air tight container.

 

Traditionally, whole spices, milk, water, sugar, and tea leaves were boiled together and strained. Malai was added as a heavy cream

Chai Hot tea Latte

 

Recipe

1. Cinnamon ground: 6 teaspoons

2. Dried Ginger ground: 2 teaspoon

3. Ground Fennel seeds:3 teaspoon

4. Green Cardamom seeds ground: 1 teaspoon

5. Cloves ground: 1½ teaspoon

6. Nutmeg: ½  teaspoon

7. Black pepper ground: 1 teaspoon

 

Yield: 5 Tablespoons  or 15 teaspoons Makes 15 cups of tea

 

Making Garam Chai Latte

Ingredients

1. Water: 2 Cups

2. Garam Chai Spice mix: 1teaspoons

3. Teabags: 2

4. Dried coffee creamer: 2 teaspoons

5. Honey: 1 Tablespoon

Method

1. Add water and Chai mix. Bring it to a boil.

2. Add remaining ingredients.

3. Let tea bags steep about five minutes

4. Remove teabags and serve
