IngredientsBasic Dal1. Water: 4 Cups 5. Canola oil: 1 teaspoon Bhagar1. Canola oil: 2 Tablespoon
MethodBasic Dal1. Wash and rinse beans in plain water. Drain. Set aside 2. Add water, salt, cayenne pepper and cooking oil in a heavy stock pot. Bring water to a boil 3. Add Rinsed beans. Bring it to a boil. 4, Turn down heat. Simmer till beans are done. About 20 minutes. 5. Shut off heat. Bhagar1. Heat oil in a sauté pan. 2. Add cumin seeds. Sauté till cumin is dark brown almost ready to burn. 3. Transfer the contents to the pot with beans. |
