Korma Pizza Sauce Recipe

This is Indian version of Alfredo sauce or Rosa sauce.

 

Ingredients

1. Almonds: 1 cup

2. Cashews: 1 Cup

3. Milk: 2 Cups

4. Cardamom powder: ½ teaspoon

5. Cinnamon powder: ¼ teaspoon

6. Nutmeg powder: 1/8 teaspoon

7. Ground Fennel seed: ¼ teaspoon

8. Ginger powder: ¼ teaspoon

9. White pepper ground: 2 teaspoons

10. Salt: 1 teaspoon

11. Canola oil: ¼ Cup

12.  Fresh Garlic minced: 4 Cloves

13. Maida (All Purpose Flour): 1 Tablespoon

 

Method

1. Boil Almonds in water. Soak in boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain water and remove skins form the almonds

2. Put almonds, Cashews, Dahi and Milk in an electric blender to form a very smooth paste.

3. Heat oil in heavy bottom pan. Add garlic. Sauté about 2 minutes.

4. Add flour. Sauté about 2 minutes.

5. Add milk and bring it to a boil. The flour will start thickening milk. As soon as the thickening process starts add the other ingredients. Stir.

4. Cook on medium for about 15 to 20 minutes, till you have a consistency of a thick paste. 

 

Notes

For a creamier sauce replace milk with heavy whipping cream
