What is a Calzone Stromboli Pazarotti?

Calzone is like a folded-over round pizza, Stromboli a folded-over square pizza, Pazarotti a folded-over mini pizza

All these products are made with pizza dough

 

Calzone

Calzone is an Italian word for 'trouser leg sleeve'. The sleeve is made of Pizza dough and stuffed with Pizza ingredients. This would be like folding a 7 to 8" pizza over in to a semi-circle (Half moon crescent), seal the open edges and bake in the oven.

We could make Samosa Calzone by using Samosa filling and pizza dough crust.

 

Stromboli

Stromboli is an American Italian invention. Sometimes, it is also spelled as Stomboli. A rectangular pizza with toppings (without sauce) is rolled in to a log and baked. Normal toppings used are: cheese, and either ham or pepperoni.

 

Pazarotti

Pazarotti is a mini version of Calzone and deep fried. This is served as an appetizer, while Calzone is more for a meal or a large sandwich.

Deep fried Calzone made with 4" pizza crust are also known as Calzone Fritto. 

If we use Pizza dough to make Khol, and change the shape to half-moon, we could call it Samosa Pazarotti.
