Making home Party Ready

Bathroom
This will be the second most room used by your guests. You will be basically vacating this room temporarily for use by your guests. Remove all your prescription, no-non prescription medications, linen towels, personal hygiene and personal care items.
Supply a hand soap, paper hand-towels, and equip with extra rolls of toilet paper. Provide a 7 gallon trash bin to discard paper towels.

Dining area
Check all the chairs and stools, remove if the legs are wobbly.
Provide a 13 gallon garbage can for garbage disposal.

Social areas
Let us face it, the Indian parties are different in one aspect than the American parties. Indian parties just break up by gender for socialization, women nook and a men nook. It would be nice to have a separate room for one of the genders to retire for socialization.

Coat Check Area
Don't make your guests frown on the prospect of piling everyone's coats wherever. Have a designated closet space with coat hangers available.

Gift Table
You may need a designated gift table for the guests to place their gifts.

Decorations
Decorations should be planned according to theme. A flower vase or a live plant is always a nice touch regardless of the theme or the occasion.

Tabletop ware: Napkins, China, Glassware, Flatware, Water Jugs. It is always acceptable to use plastic tumblers for your party.

Foodservice ware: You may consider either buying or renting following items:
Chafers, Fruit punch bowls, Water pitchers, Coffee Air pot
