Raita - Bananas RecipeThis is a popular sweet dish in North India made with regular yogurt and ripened bananas. Sometimes, fresh whole seedless grapes are stirred in along with the bananas.
Ingredients1. Dahi Natural Yogurt: ¾ Cup 2. Sour cream: ¼ Cup 3. Honey or Corn Syrup: 2 Tablespoons 4. Saffron strands: 3 4. Bananas: 2
MethodStep 1Mix Dahi, Sour cream and Honey together and beat with a fork to form a paste. Stir in saffron strands. Step 2Peel bananas. Slice them thin about the thickness of a Silver dollar coin. Step 3Stir sliced bananas in the yogurt mixture. Store in refrigerator. |
