Curried Chicken Burger in Hurry RecipeYou can make burgers out of ground chicken or ground turkey with familiar flavors of Curry in less than 30 minutes. It is a very simple recipe. I have used white bread slices as a binder. Coriander powder in the curry powder also serves as binder. You can save the uncooked patties in the refrigerator for a 3 to 4 days. In reality, they handle better after refrigerated for one day.
IngredientsChicken Patties1. Ground Chicken: 1 Pounds 3. Finely chopped Serrano: 2 4. Finely chopped Cilantro: 1 Tablespoon 6. Garam Masala: ½ teaspoon 8. White bread slices: 2 CookingVegetable oil: ¼ Cup for frying
MethodChicken PattiesCut off the crust from bread. Tear each slice in to small pieces, each piece about the size of a dime. Mix remaining ingredients. Knead the mixture like dough. Gather mixture into a ball. Divide in to 4 portions. Roll each portion and make it into a ball. Press each ball to a patty of about 3 to 3½" diameter. CookingBaste both sides of the patties with a light coat of oil before cooking. You can cook on a charcoal grill at medium heat for about 5 minutes per side. You can use a heavy griddle or even your Tawa. Pour vegetable oil and heat the griddle to medium hot. Fry each patty about 4 minutes each side. Serve on toasted buns. Put your favorite Chutney to top the cooked patty. |
