Besan Cookie (Chickpea flour cookie) 30 minute recipe

Made with Besan egg sugar butter. Kewra and Cardamom added for flavor

 

Ingredients

1. Besan (Chickpea flour): 1 Cup

2. Kewra (Screwpine): ½ teaspoon

3. Ground Cardamom: ½ teaspoon

4. Egg: 1 small

5. Confectioners Sugar: ½ Cup

6. Golden Raisins: ¼ Cup

7. Butter: ½ Cup at room temperature

8. Water : 1 Tablespoon

 

Method

1. Cream butter and sugar together for five minutes

2. Add egg, Cardamom, and Kewra. Mix and beat about two minutes

3. Stir in Besan, water, and raisins one at a time.

4. Grease a cookie sheet. Drop a spoonful of cookie dough leaving space about the width of two fingers between the cookies.

5. Preheat oven to 350º F.

6. Bake cookies till the edges start to turn brown. it will take about 12 minutes
