India Historical Recipes InterpretedPopular historical recipes from British Raj and Akbar period are interpreted For British Raj, I have analyzed old recipes and the spices used by British at the time. I have tried to formulate the recipes as if the dish was being cooked during the Raj. For Akbar period, I have kept the same ingredients. The amounts are cut into one-tenth for home cooking. Some of the amounts had to be changed further to reflect today's taste, e.g., lowered the amount of Ghee and salt.
