Soy Protein Halwa Candy Healthy RecipeThis is a high protein, low saturated fat Halwa cakes. Its great for growing children for their muscle development. IngredientsWet Mixture1. Soft Tofu silken (12.3 oz package): 1 Dry Mix1. Soy protein powder: 1 cup Add-ins1. Chopped nuts (Choice of one more nuts such as Almonds, Cashews, Walnut): 1 Cup 2. Chopped dried fruits (Choice one or more dried fruits such as Raisins, Apricots, Figs, Cherries): 1 Cup
MethodStep 1: Liquid MixtureIn a mixing bowl, whisk tofu till smooth. Add one ingredient at a time and whisk. Step 2: Dry MixCombine items 1 through 5 in a mixing bowl. Step 3: Dough1. Add dry mix to Wet mixture. Combine well. 2. Stir in dried fruits and nuts 3. Transfer the ingredients to a non stick cookie pan (13x9). Spread out evenly. Step 4: Baking1. Pre-heat oven to 350º F 2. Bake for 35 minutes or till the internal temperature reaches 205º F. Shut off heat and remove the pan. |
