Mewa Mix (Trail Mix) Healthy Recipe

Mewa mix in United States is called Trail mix. It is a mix of unsalted un-roasted nuts, and non-sugared dried fruits. There is no salt, or any other spices added. It is a good energy snack with excellent nutritional value.

 

Ingredients

Nuts of choice

1. Slivered Almonds
2. Peanuts
3. Cashew halves
4. Broken walnuts
5. Hulled sunflower seeds
6. Hulled Pumpkin seeds
7. Hulled watermelon seeds
8. Hulled pine nuts (Chilgoza)

Dried Fruits of Choice

1. Raisins
2. Chopped slices of dried mangoes
3. Chopped spears of dried papayas
4. Banana chips
6. Chopped Apricots
8. Cherries

 

Method

Step 1. Chose four of the nuts. In a bowl, add ¼ cup selected nuts.
Step 2. Chose four of the four dried fruits. Add ¼ cup selected dried fruits to the mixing bowl in step 1.
Step 3. Fill a quart size jar with the trail mix and secure the lid tightly. Next time, try to make the mix with the ingredients ignored in Step 1 and Step 2
