Healthy Limaigrette Salad Dressing  Recipe

Ingredients include lime juice virgin olive oil Flaxseed oil and walnut oil

 

Nutrition aspects

We use fresh lemon/lime juice to add Vitamin C. We also use a combination of oils for a balance Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acid. The dressing should be refrigerated.

 

Ingredients

1. Fresh lemon or lime juice: 1 Cup
2. Extra virgin olive oil: ¾ Cup
3. Flaxseed oil: 2 Tablespoons
4. Walnut oil: 2 Tablespoons
5. Finely chopped fresh Sweet Basil (Tulsi): ¼ Cup
6. Finely chopped fresh Cilantro (Dhania): ¼ Cup
7. Minced fresh Garlic: 1 Tablespoon
8. Salt: ¼ teaspoon or to taste
9. Cayenne pepper ground: ¼ teaspoon or to taste
10. Black pepper ground: ¼ teaspoon or to taste

 

Method

Step 1: Put lime juice in a mixing bowl. Add half the olive oil whisk well. Add the remaining olive oil and whisk.
Step 2: Add Flaxseed oil and walnut oil and whisk.
Step 3: Add all the remaining ingredients.
Step 4: Transfer the dressing into a bottle. Put it in the refrigerator for about 2 hour.
Step 5: Shake the bottle before using, and return it to the refrigerator.
