Low fat Low sugar Gajar Halwa (Carrot Halva) Microwave Healthy Recipe

What is Halwa (Halva)?

Regular Gajar Halwa Recipe

 

For diabetics, Replace sugar with equal amount of Splenda.

 


Ingredients

1. Grated Carrots packed: 3 Cups

2. Fat free Dry Milk: ½ Cup

3. Water: ¼ Cup

4. Splenda: ¾ Cup

5. Cardamom seeds: ¼ teaspoon

7. Sliced almonds: ¼ Cup (optional)

 
Method

1. Put carrots in a microwave proof dish. Cover with plastic film. Cook on high for 7 to eight minutes.

2. Add remaining ingredients. Toss around to mix well. Cover with plastic film. Cook on high for 7 to eight minutes.

3. Transfer the contents on to a pan. Press and smooth with a spatula. Let it cool. Store in the refrigerator.
