Spicy Curry Ketchup Fusion Recipe

British brought Ketch up to India. Indians just spiced it up

 

Ingredients

1. Stewed tomatoes: 5 Cup
2. Chopped Onions: ¼ Cup
3. Minced Garlic: 2 Tablespoon
4. Cardamom powder: 1 Tablespoon
5. Ground Cloves: 1 Tablespoon
6. Ground Cinnamon: 1 Tablespoon
7. Ground Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
8. Ground Ginger Powder: 2 teaspoon
9. Ground Black Pepper: 1 teaspoon
10. Cayenne Pepper: ½ teaspoon
11. Salt: 1½ Tablespoon
12. Sugar: 2 Tablespoon
13. White Vinegar: 2 Cup

 

Method

Step 1: Mix items 1 through 11 and puree in a food processor.
Step 2: Pour the contents in a heavy bottom pan. Bring the mixture to a boil. Cook on low heat, till the mixture is reduced by half. It may take about one hour.
Step 3: Stir in sugar and vinegar.
