What is raw food diet? Does raw food diet work?

Only raw organically grown foods are allowed to be eaten.

The digestive enzymes are active only in raw foods. As the foods are heated, the structure of the enzymes changes. Above 116º F, they become inactive and non-functional.

The raw food diets for weight-loss involve fasting where the raw produce is pulverized and consumed. These are called 'juice fasting'.
