What is Pakora?

Pakora is a deep fried snack. The food items (vegetables fish fowl or prawns) are dipped in a wet batter and deep fried in hot vegetable oil
Traditionally, the batter is made of Besan (Chickpea flour), and water. Salt pepper may be added. The batter is rested for about 20 minutes before it is used.
The exemplar (vegetables fish fowl or prawns)  are dipped in a Karahi (Indian Wok) with hot oil. The common oils used for frying are: Peanut oil and Mustard oil.
Hot, just fried Pakora are served with Cilantro Chutney.
Hot Pakora are popular during Monsoon season just after rains.
