Mughalai refers to foods served in the imperial courts during Moghul empire

Mughalai food is a food fit for a Mughal emperor. The phrase was coined during British Raj to imply rich sauces made with Yogurt, Malai (cream), Khoya (reduced milk), Ghee,  Nuts (Almonds Cashews Chilgoza).
