What is Karahi?

Karahi is an Indian iron wok. Karahi is also a popular meat dish in Punjab and Pakistan. The meat is dry-cooked in the Karahi along with spices

In Pakistan, Peshawar is credited with creating this dish. As a minimum, the dish has garlic ginger, fresh green pepper, red chili powder, Coriander, Salt and meat.

There are as many variants as number of cooks. Everyone cooks it differently with variation in added spices even vinegar.

The meats include sirloin of beef, sirloin of Goat/Mutton, skinless boneless chicken.
