How to Freeze Cooked Foods?

1. Make sure your freezer temperature is below 0º F
2. Make sure the foods to be frozen should be at or below room temperature.
3. Chose freezer bags. Storage bags, and sandwich bags are not same as freezer bags Freezer bags are thicker than the storage or sandwich bags.
4. Freeze amounts in smaller quantities. After filling the bar form them like thin slabs before freezing. It will be easier to freeze and quicker to thaw.
5. Freezer burns are caused by dehydration. The major cause is the air present. Let as much air out as possible before sealing the bag and eventually freezing it.
6. Cooked eggs, Whipping cream, Milk and Mayonnaise do not freeze well.
7. Dahi yogurt does not freeze well. However, whipped Dahi yogurt may be frozen in limited quantities for your next starter culture.
