See What is a Tandoor and how it works? Emulation

Kitchenware needed

One Pizza Stone

One Aluminum Cookie baking tray

Aluminum Foil

Mittens

Method

Step 1: Put Pizza Stone on the lower shelf of the oven

Step 2: Turn oven on to maximum dial. Probably, it is 450º F.

Step 3: Pre heat oven. It will probably take 25 to 40 minutes for the pizza stone to get hot.

Step 4: Remove Kebabs from marinate. Let the Kebabs rest till they reach room temperature. If you want to serve Kebabs on skewers, you may thread the Kebabs on the skewers now.
Step 5: Put Kebabs in the baking tray. Arrange Kebabs so they are layered in a single tier, don't pile Kebabs on top of each other. Baste the Kebabs generously with the marinate.

Step 6: Put the Aluminum tray on top of the hot Pizza Stone. Bake for half the needed time.

Step 7: Turn Kebabs over and baste with marinate. Bake for the remainder of the time till cooked.

Step 8: Remove the baking tray.

Note

Always use mittens to handle the hot baking tray
