How to fine-chop Cilantro?

Cilantro is the most common fresh herb used in Indian Cuisine. Most of the curries are garnished with finely chopped Cilantro

You can use knife for the job, but Kitchen shears (scissors) do a better job. Remove the leaves from the stem, discard the stem. Roll the leaves into a tight reefer (like a tiny cigar). Use kitchen scissors to cut thin slices of the reefer from one end.

You can use the same technique with peppermint leaves, sweet basil, Holy Basil (Tulsi), or even Serrano.
