Do Fenugreek seeds help increase lactation?

Fenugreek can increase the milk production among nursing mothers by three to nine fold

If a nursing mother is having problems with lactation, one may try following.
1 cup water, ½ teaspoon Fenugreek seeds.
Bring water and Fenugreek seeds to a boil. Steep on low heat for 15 minutes. Drink the water as well as chew the seeds when at room temperature.  Do this twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. The impact on lactation will start within 12 hour of first ingesting the Fenugreek seeds. Don't take it for more than three days.
