How to remove curry stains from upholstery and carpets?We will use Liquid Dishwashing detergent, White vinegar, Ammonia, Rubbing Alcohol, Water and white cloth rags Do not use any Chlorine-bleach in this process, mixing chlorine-bleach and ammonia creates in hazardous fumes The process involves 4 Steps
Step1: Prepare Stain1). Use a teaspoon and lift-off as much curry as possible without spreading out the stain 2). Use clean white cloth to sponge the stain with plain water. Blot till most of the water is absorbed and removed
Step 2: Pre-treat and remove with Detergent/Vinegar Solution1). Prepare detergent/vinegar solution - Liquid dishwashing detergent: 1 Tablespoon - White Vinegar: 1 Tablespoon - Cool Tap water: 2 Cups 2). Use clean white cloth to sponge the stain with detergent/vinegar solution. Leave it on for 30 or more minutes, blotting every five minutes with more detergent/vinegar solution 3). Sponge with cool tap water. Blot till all the liquids are absorbed and removed
Step 3: Pre-treat and remove with Rubbing Alcohol1). Sponge the stain with Rubbing Alcohol (91% Isopropyl). Leave it on for 30 or more minutes, blotting every five minutes with more Rubbing Alcohol. 2). Sponge with cool tap water. Blot till all the liquids are absorbed and removed
Step 4: Pre-treat and remove with Detergent/Ammonia Solution1). Prepare detergent/ammonia solution - Liquid dishwashing detergent: 1 teaspoon - Ammonia: 1 Tablespoon - Cool Tap water: 2 Cups 2). Use clean white cloth to sponge the stain with detergent/ammonia solution. Leave it on for 30 or more minutes, blotting every five minutes with more detergent/vinegar solution 3). Sponge with cool tap water. Blot till all the liquids are absorbed and removed |
