How to clean silverware?Sterling silver and plated silver are should always be washed by hand. Even if you use Dishwasher, please don't dry in the dishwasher
Wash with mild soap, rinse, dry and buff with cotton towel. Use silver polish to remove stains and restore the shine. Don't wash sterling or silver plated flat ware with other metals such as even stainless steel. The direct contact with other metals will damage the silver. Wrap sterling and silver plated flat ware in cotton towel and store. Never sterling or plated silverware with plastic, aluminum foil or paper.
