Cowboy and Roosters Pineapple Chili Recipe

Anecdote: About six years ago, I and a friend were trying to make a good pasta sauce. What we ended up is with this Chili recipe.


Ingredients

1. Crushed or chunky Pineapple: 1 Can

2. Stewed tomatoes: 3 Cans

3. Mushrooms: 3 Cans

4 Red Kidney beans: 2 Cans

5. Green Beans: 1 can

6. Yellow onion: 1 Large peeled and diced

7. Chili sauce: 1 Bottle

8. Kielbasa sausage: 1 Diced

9. Ground beef: 1 Pound

10. Taco seasoning: 1 Package.

11. Ground Italian sausage: 1 Pound

12. Chili Mix: 1 Pack

Method

1. Combine ingredients 1 through 8 in a large heavy bottom pan. Simmer on low for 30 minutes.

2. In a separate pan brown the beef and add the taco seasoning. Add this to the main pot.

3. Brown Italian sausage in a pan. Add this to the main pot.

4. Stir in Chili mix.

5. Let it simmer on low heat for about 3 to 4 hours. Stir about every 20 to 30 minutes.

Serving

Top with cheese. Serve with French bread.
