Ingredients1. Chapati: 2 2. Prawn: 150 gms, Shelled De-veined Chopped to about 1" length 4. Onion: 1 Medium, chopped 5. Garlic Cloves: 2, Peeled minced 6. Fresh ginger: ½" Peeled, finely chopped 8. Salt: To taste 9. Egg: 1 Medium, lightly beaten 10. Cheddar cheese: ¼ Cup Method1. Heat oil in a pan, add the onions, garlic, ginger and green chilies and fry 2. Add the prawns, turmeric powder and salt and cook till the prawns are opaque and done. 3. Allow this to cool and add egg. Mix well. 4. Heat the Chapati on the Tawa (griddle). 5. Spread the half of the mixture on the Chapati. Let it cook a couple of minutes. 6. This is a bit tricky. Use a turner and turn the Chapati over so that the mixture is in contact with the Tawa. Let it cook for additional two minutes. 7. Put the Chapati side down on a board. Sprinkle half of the cheese. Roll the Chapati to form a log. Cut the log in half at a bias (Diagonal cut). 8. Repeat the steps 4 through 7 for the second Chapati. Yogi's Notes1. For more flavor, you may sprinkle a teaspoon of fresh chopped cilantro over the Cheddar cheese. 2. Replace Turmeric powder with one Tablespoon of Hurry Curry Powder . |
