Tamatar (Tomato) Chutney conserve RecipeMade with ripe Roma tomatoes brown sugar and cider vinegar
Ingredients1. Tomatoes Ripe: 1 Pound Chopped 2. Onions: 1 cup finely chopped 3. Garlic: 8 Cloves. Peeled and crushed 4. Serrano: 3 Halved, de-seeded, white membrane removed 5. Brown Sugar: 1½ cup 6, Cider Vinegar (5%): cups 7. Cumin seeds cracked: ½ teaspoon 8. Degi Mirch (paprika): 1 teaspoon 9. Hot Cayenne pepper powder: 1 teaspoon 10. Salt: ½ teaspoon MethodPut all the ingredients in a heavy bottom pan. Stir. Turn on heat. Bring it to a boil. Simmer about 30 minutes or till right consistency has been reached. |
