Peanut Chutney RecipeIts really very hot. You may want to reduce the number of Serrano. Ingredients1. Roasted Peanuts: ½ Cup, Choose un-salted roasted peanuts NOT Dry Roasted. Remove skin. 2. Serrano: 6, Washed 8. Brown sugar: 1½ Tablespoon 9. Lime juice: 1½ Tablespoon 10. Salt: ½ teaspoon 11. Vegetable oil: 1 Tablespoon (Option, see Note) 12. Water: 1 Tablespoon
MethodBlend all ingredients well in a blender to pulverize. Keep refrigerated.
NOTEIn traditional Indian cooking, no oil is used to make this type of chutney. I have found that adding oil gives it a very nice texture |
