Garlic Chutney Lahsun Chatni Recipe

Popular chutney in Rajasthan made with fresh Garlic, dried red chili

As a teenager, I remember people eating their Bajra Roti just with Lahsun Chatni along with a glass of Chach (Butter milk) for lunch.


Ingredients

1. Garlic: 40 to 50 Cloves peeled

2. Red Crushed peppers: ½ Cup

Yes! it is not an error. It really is half a cup.

3. Salt: 1 teaspoon or to taste

4. Fennel seeds: ¼ teaspoon

Dry roast and grind in a coffee grinder.

5. Lime juice: 2 Tablespoons

6. Water: 2 Tablespoons

 

Method

Blend all the ingredients in an electric blender to a paste.
