Dahi Kebab Dip Recipe

This is a cooked Yogurt dip based on Kishengarh Dahi Kebab made with yogurt herbs and spices

 

Ingredients

1. Ghee: 2 Tablespoon

2. Ground or very finely chopped onion: 2 cups

3. Mince Garlic: 1 Tablespoon

4. Ground Cinnamon: ¼ teaspoon

5. Ground Cloves: ¼ teaspoon

6. Ground Cardamom: ¼ teaspoon

7. Ground White pepper: ½ teaspoon

8. Salt: ¼ teaspoon

Slurry

1. Yogurt: ½ cup

2. Corn Starch (Makki Atta): 1½ teaspoon

3. Water: 2 Tablespoons

 

Method

1. Heat Ghee in a heavy bottom pan.

2. Add onions. Sauté onions till edges turn brown.

3.  Add Garlic, Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, White pepper, and Salt. Stir and cook about 2 minutes.

4. Make a slurry by Yogurt, water and corn starch.

7. Pour slurry in to the pan. Cook about 3 minutes. Stir frequently to avoid scorching.
