Unripe Mango Chutney Ambi Chatni RecipeZesty condiment made wit fresh un-ripened green sour mangoes and spices
Ambi is a green sour mango variety in India. This is not same as the mango variety that actually ripens for use. You can buy the mangoes that are green and hard in United States to make this chutney, but they lack sourness. To compensate, I will add dry mango powder (Amchoor). recipe.
Ingredients1. Unripe mangoes: 2 Peeled, de-seeded cubed 2. Fresh peppermint leafs: ¼ Cup Washed, picked leafs, stems discarded 3. Serrano: 2 Washed and chopped 4. Red crushed peppers: 1 teaspoon 5. Salt: ½ teaspoon 6. Garlic: 2 cloves peeled crushed 7. Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon 8. Amchoor: ¼ teaspoon 9. Water: 2 Tablespoon
MethodBlend all the ingredients in an electric blender to a paste. |
