Makhni Chicken Baby food (8 months plus) RecipeBaby is 8 months old ready for some of the more popular Indian Dishes. We will make Makhni chicken. We will not use Ghee Butter, and oil. They will be replaced with a combination of Canola oil and Ghee. The heavy whipping cream will be replaced with regular milk. We have avoided Salt, Cayenne Pepper. Compare with Regular Makhni Chicken recipe Ingredients1. Chicken breast (skinless boneless) cut into 1" pieces:1 2. Ghee: 2 teaspoons 3. Onion peeled finely chopped: 1 Medium pinch ground ginger 6. Ground Ginger: Pinch 7. Ground Coriander: Pinch 8. Yogurt: ¼ Cup 9. Milk: 1 Tablespoon 10 Water: 1 Tablespoon 11. Bay leaf: 1 Method1. Heat Ghee in a heavy bottom pan. 2. Sauté onions till clear about 10 minutes 3. Add the cardamom, ginger, cloves and bay leaf. Sauté until the onions are brown (about 5 minutes). 4. Add the yogurt and coriander to the pan, stirring constantly. Once the yogurt is absorbed, add the chicken and cook until golden. 5. Add the water, reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes. 6. Stir in the milk, then remove from the heat. 7. Let it rest for 15 minutes. 8. Remove bay leaf and cloves. 9. Use food processor in pulse mode to make lumpy mash.
Notes You can substitute Milk with Heavy whipping cream at 9 months. |
