Adrak Nimboo Pani (Ginger Limeade) Recipe

This is neither ginger ale nor limeade, its a marriage of two.

 

Ingredients

1. Fresh Ginger: 2" long 1" diameter

2. Water: 4 cups

3. Peppercorn: 1 teaspoon

4. Sugar: 2½ Cups

5. Limes: 12

6. Water: 4 Cups

 

Method

1. Peel and grate the ginger fine

2. Mix ginger, water, pepper corn and sugar in a heavy bottom pot.

3. Bring it to a boil. Turn down heat and steep for 10 minutes.

4. Shut off heat. Let it cool.

5. Squeeze the lime juice and add to to ginger base

6. Add water to Ginger base.

7. Strain and discard solids. Store in refrigerator. Serve on ice.
