Internal Medicine

- Ease menstrual cramps

- Help child birth
- Regulate menstruation cycle
- May induce abortion. Used to prevent post-intercourse pregnancy

Topical applications

- Promote thick hair growth, prevent hair loss, prevent pre-mature grey hair, dark hair colorant
- Scalp massage of Hibiscus extract with coconut oil is used to treat dandruff

- Decoction may be used treat boils sores and skin eruptions
